All rooms are non-smoking.

There is one free parking space behind the building (north side). Please follow these parking instructions: 1. Enter the parking area by taking the side road west of “Enshu Shinkin Bank Arai Branch,” located on the east side of the building, circling around to the parking lot. *(Please note the parking lot is a gravel area. Do not use the bank’s parking lot.)* 2. Park in the space marked with the “johacu INN” sign.

We do not provide meals. However, within a 10-minute walking radius, there are many restaurants, izakayas, grocery stores, and supermarkets. Some breakfast-serving establishments open as early as 7 a.m. We recommend enjoying meals at nearby restaurants or cooking with local ingredients.

The facility has shower rooms only. We recommend using “Midori-yu,” a public bathhouse located a 5-minute walk from the inn. It is a valuable bathhouse that has been operating for over 140 years since the Meiji era.

You may use the washing machine inside the inn. There are also hangers and clips available for indoor drying. (Please note there is no dryer.) A laundromat with dryers is located a 2-minute walk away and is also available for your use. *Laundromat hours: 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Since this is an old building, there may be some drafts.

Some windows have screens, while others do not. When ventilating by opening windows, please be sure to open only those windows equipped with screens. The locations of the screens are indicated in the house manual, so please check it for details.
